River Run is, first and foremost, a breakfast place. One just has to be imaginative in defining "breakfast." It's not unusual for patrons to sit down in the morning to bowls of gumbo or jambalaya, a plate of BBQ Spaghetti, or a dish of catfish -- fried golden -- and potatoes.

Of course there's plenty of more traditional breakfast fare: fat buttermilk biscuits awash in sausage gravy, plate-sized fluffy Pancakes, thick strips of grilled bacon, homemade granola, and every kind of omelet you can think of.
